We spent 24 unforgettable days trekking with Tulasi around the Manaslu Circuit and the Annapurna Circuit and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. From the very first day, Tulsi and our porter Dinesh made us feel very safe and comfortable at any time. Tulsis knowledge of the trails, the mountains and the local culture was outstanding.

Tulsi is incredibly friendly, always smiling and has a great sense of humor. No matter how challenging the day was, he kept everyone’s motivation high and made every moment enjoyable. His positive attitude and professional guiding turned an amazing trek into an unforgettable adventure.

If you’re planning a trek in Nepal, we can highly recommend Tulsi as a guide. He is knowledgeable, reliable, caring, and truly passionate about what he does. Thank you Tulsi for giving us memories that will last a lifetime! We hope to trek with you again one day!

I spent 10 days trekking to Annapurna Base Camp and back with Tulsi, and it turned out to be an experience of a lifetime and one of those trips where you come back with more than just great memories of the place.
I’m so glad to have had Tulsi as my guide and adventure partner on this trip. He really helped me in many situations along the way and made the journey really incredible. He helped me get what was needed for the trek and every day made sure I got anything I would need, always very attentive, whether I was comfortable or needed anything. Never had to worry because he was always there, made sure I was kept informed of the daily plan, stops for food and accommodation, etc. Tulsi knew quite well what he was doing, always thinking about me first and providing or assisting anything needed in any circumstances we have encountered, plus he is ready anytime to be your photographer on these incredible mountain spots.

He knows the region, the trails, the terrain and the local customs quite well. He has been doing these Himalayan treks for a few years and you can tell. It was reassuring to have someone with this level of experience and communication, but what I appreciated the most was the person he is. Tulsi is very welcoming, easy-going, funny and genuinely enjoyable to spend time with. Over the course of my trek I never felt that Tulsi was just my guide but also a friend! I’m very glad I chose to do this trek with him and hopefully this won’t be our last adventure together!
I definitely recommend Tulsi both personally and professionally if you are planning to visit the Himalayas.

I did the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Tulsi in 2023 and would happily recommend him. The thing that stood out was how well he knew the area – he’d guided this route and the surrounding ones plenty of times, and it made a real difference. He set a sensible pace for acclimatising, knew the good lodges and the people running them, and had a feel for the weather that meant we were never caught out.

He was easygoing, organised and clearly loves the mountains, which made the whole trip feel relaxed rather than regimented. If you’re thinking about trekking in the Annapurna region, you’d be in very good hands with him.

We got to explore the amazing scenery and local culture of the Manaslu area, guided by Tulsi.🏔️ From the beginning he was very kind and helpful with everything. We felt safe with him as our guide. He knows a lot about the region we hiked in and his love for the mountains is very admirable. During our eleven-days trip we got to see his humor, optimism and musicality. We loved the flute during stops and the random dance breaks gave us a boost of energy.⚡

Tulsi’s love for his country, the people we meet along the way and the nature is inspiring and beautiful to witness. He taught us some local games and got really competitive when we taught him our games 😁At times where we were tired, his positive mind gave us the power we needed! As he always says, a positive mind is a powerful mind. We really experienced that and we loved our hike in the mountains. Is was the most wonderful experience of our lives and we are really grateful for Tulsi for making this dream reality.🤩

We really recommend Tulsi as a guide for your trek. He became a friend along the way. He is kind, caring and full of love for his job and the people he guides.

Chetan and friends from Chicago 🇺🇸

Our team of five friends from Chicago had the incredible opportunity to complete the Annapurna Circuit Trek from April 28 to May 7, 2025, starting in Dharapani and finishing in Muktinath, with the unforgettable experiences of hiking to Tilicho Lake and crossing the challenging Thorong La Pass.

A huge part of our successful and memorable trek was the exceptional support and guidance provided by our lead guide, Tulsi, and his wonderful team.

From the very first day, Tulsi and his team were always available to assist, guide, motivate, and encourage us. They understood our individual needs and made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well prepared for each day’s hike. Their knowledge of the trails, terrain, altitude, and local conditions gave us great confidence, especially during the more challenging sections of the trek.

What truly stood out was their attention to every detail. From hot breakfast in the morning to hot lunch and hot dinner every day, they made sure we were well taken care of throughout the journey. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their positive attitude and encouragement kept us going even when the hiking became difficult.

Crossing Thorong La Pass and reaching Tilicho Lake were highlights of our adventure, and having Tulsi and his team beside us made those accomplishments even more special.

We are extremely grateful to Tulsi and his entire team for their professionalism, dedication, friendship, and constant encouragement. They didn’t just guide us through the Annapurna Circuit—they became an important part of our journey and memories.

Thank you, Tulsi, for helping our team of five friends from Chicago complete this amazing adventure. We highly recommend Tulsi and his team to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and dependable trekking team in Nepal.
