Hi, I'm Tulasi ...
… and I was born in Kaski District in the heart of Nepal’s Annapurna region, home to the world-famous Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal trekking trails.
With more than eight years of experience in Nepal’s tourism industry, I have developed extensive knowledge of the country’s trekking, touring and mountaineering destinations. I began my career by working as a porter for three years, gaining valuable firsthand experience in the Himalayas. After earning my government trekking guide license from the Nepal Tourism authorities, I have spent the past five years working as a professional trekking and tour guide, leading travelers from around the world through Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes.
Throughout my career, I have guided treks across many of Nepal’s most iconic regions, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Upper Mustang, Manaslu, Kanchenjunga and Dhaulagiri. My deep understanding of the Himalayas, local traditions, mountain lifestyles, and Nepal’s rich cultural and religious heritage allows me to provide guests with authentic and meaningful travel experiences.
I am especially passionate about Himalayan wildlife and nature. I enjoy observing native species such as the Blue Sheep (Naur), Himalayan Tahr, and a wide variety of Himalayan birds while exploring Nepal’s mountain trails.
Beyond tourism, I am committed to serving my local community. I currently serve as the President of Laligurans Youth Club in my home village. Together with our dedicated team, we organize community welfare programs that support underprivileged families by distributing food, clothing, and essential supplies. We also participate in environmental clean-up campaigns, help build school sanitation facilities and provide stationery and educational materials to local students.
As a guide, my goal is not only to lead treks safely but also to help every traveler experience the true beauty, culture, hospitality and spirit of Nepal. I look forward to welcoming you and sharing unforgettable adventures in the Himalayas.
